My teaching partner, Kate Acton, and I have made it through our “live sessions” unscathed! We have one more presentation to go for this module and then we get a little break before the next course. This has been a great experience. Both of us love helping students in the program as all of us, whether student or teacher, have the passion to better understand the science behind the management of the horse. Hats off to the Vet School for giving us this opportunity.
The “Good Practice Showcase 2020” has been cancelled due to COVID-19. The conference, presented by the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, was to be held on March 18th. As one of the co-presenters, I am hopeful we will have a future date for this event. Let’s all be wise and use “good practices” in keeping ourselves healthy! Hopefully this virus will subside as we all work together to keep it from spreading too rapidly within our own countries and regions.
Best to all,
Photo is of the pony learning to drive…she is getting use to the harness, especially the breeching and blinkers, before actually pulling any weight.
